Low key comfortable place with people interested in playing pool. It's a pretty good group of friends and a welcoming atmosphere.

Am not a "late night" bar guy. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences, stopping in, over the last seven years. Those that have had creepy impressions: maybe you should just go home. Most late night bars will have it's share of undesirables.

I am from the South side of Chicago, and I almost felt at home. Working class, shot and a beer joint. Great jukebox, hot bartenders, cool patrons, very colorful. It was a very mixed crowd, but variety makes the place a bit spicier. This is a bar for someone that can hold their own, but these folks are golden. I got in an automobile accident across the street and was stranded there for hours, with no money or cards. The bartender was breathtakingly beautiful, she ran me a tab and I had a great time during a very stressful situation. All drinks were 3 bucks, ALL drinks were 3 bucks!! 5 stars, this is what a neighborhood bar should be! Gio Blacksquirrel

Love this bar they have pool, chess, board games, and a dart board. The back is awesome for smoking cigs. I've met a lot of interesting people. Some of the bar tenders are iffy but there is one lady I really like.

It's a good dive bar. Best thing there are the pool tables. There are a few sketch balls but if you keep to yourself and your company should be no problem. Sheriff does sit outside periodically.

Clifford’s is exactly what I look for in a dive bar: chill, dark atmosphere, good prices, and friendly service. Met a few friends there this afternoon and it was perfect! Don’t think there is a kitchen, but there are pool tables, a couple of not obnoxious TVs, and video gaming if you’re into it. Looking forward to returning! 🍻

Has since been bought out. See ya Chris. I'm with the new owners. They gutted the place and added a patio. Like the new look. Not the new vibe. Still a late night hour weekend bar.

This is the best bar I’ve ever been to. It was my first time and I showed up with 6 friends. After we ordered our first round the bartender brought us 3 different types of chips. Why does no other bar do this. God bless you ms bartender. <3

Your perfect hole in the wall bar. Staff is amazing. I love how the staff and owner take time to get to know you on personal level, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend, plus drinks here are cheaper.
